ডেস্ক রিপোর্ট, ঢাকা: সংশ্লিষ্টদের দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি না হওয়ায় নারী নির্যাতন, ধর্ষণ করে ভিডিও ধারণ এবং তা ছড়িয়ে দেয়ার ঘটনা উদ্বেগজনক হারে বেড়ে চলছে বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন হাইকোর্ট। ৩ জুন বৃহস্পতিবার বিচারপতি মো. মজিবুর রহমান মিয়া ও বিচারপতি মহিউদ্দিন শামীমের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত হাইকোর্ট বেঞ্চ এমন মন্তব্য করেন। স্বামীকে বেঁধে রেখে গৃহবধূকে নিজ ঘরে ধর্ষণচেষ্টায় বিবস্ত্র করে নির্যাতনের ঘটনায় হাইকোর্টের রুলের শুনানিতে উচ্চ আদালত এমন মন্তব্য করেন। আদালত বলেন, ‘পর্নোগ্রাফি নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইনে দায়ীদের বিরুদ্ধে সাজা দেয়ার হার কম। ধর্ষণ ও নির্যাতন করে ভিডিও ছড়িয়ে দেয়া হলে নির্যাতনের শিকার নারী এবং তাদের পরিবারে বিরূপ প্রভাব পড়ে।’ পর্নোগ্রাফি ও ভিডিও ছড়িয়ে দেয়ার ঘটনায় ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালতে সাজা দেয়ার এখতিয়ার নিয়ে এ সময় প্রশ্ন তোলেন আইন ও সালিশ কেন্দ্রের ব্যারিস্টার অনিক আর হক। অপরদিকে রাষ্ট্রপক্ষে শুনানি করেন ডেপুটি অ্যাটর্নি জেনারেল নওরোজ মো. রাসেল চৌধুরী।
( বিজ্ঞাপন ) জানতে চাইলে সংশ্লিষ্ট বেঞ্চের ডেপুটি অ্যাটর্নি জেনারেল নওরোজ মো. রাসেল চৌধুরী ঢাকাটাইমসকে বলেন, ‘আদালতে শুনানি হয়েছে এ বিষয়ে। আদালত মামলা শুনানির সময় কিছু মন্তব্য করেছেন। তবে কী মন্তব্য করেছেন সেটি এই মুহূর্তে মনে নেই।’ নোয়াখালীর কোম্পানীগঞ্জে স্বামীকে বেধে রেখে গৃহবধূকে ধর্ষণের ঘটনাটি ঘটে গত বছরের ৫ অক্টোবর। আদালতের নজরে আনার পর এমন ফুটেজ সরাতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন হাইকোর্ট। নির্যাতনের শিকার বেগমগঞ্জ উপজেলার ওই নারীর পরিবারকে সবধরনের নিরাপত্তা দিতে নোয়াখালীর পুলিশ সুপারকে নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়। পাশাপাশি ঘটনার বিষয়ে ভুক্তভোগীর বক্তব্য গ্রহণে পুলিশের কোনো অবহেলা আছে কি না তা অনুসন্ধান করতে একটি কমিটি করে দেন আদালত। ওই ঘটনায় দায়ের করা ফৌজদারি মামলার সর্বশেষ অবস্থা জানিয়ে ২৮ অক্টোবরের মধ্যে আদালতকে প্রতিবেদন দিতে বেগমগঞ্জ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তাকে নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছে। জানা যায়, গত বছরের ২ সেপ্টেম্বর রাত ৯টার দিকে গৃহবধূর (৩৫) বসতঘরে ঢুকে তার স্বামীকে পাশের কক্ষে বেঁধে রেখে তাকে ধর্ষণের চেষ্টা করে শ্লীলতাহানি করেন স্থানীয় বাদল ও তার সংঘবদ্ধ বখাটে যুবক দল। ওই সময় গৃহবধূ বাধা দিলে তারা তাকে বিবস্ত্র করে বেধড়ক মারধর করে মোবাইলে ভিডিওচিত্র ধারণ করে। ঘটনার ৩২ দিন পর ৪ অক্টোবর দুপুরের দিকে গৃহবধূকে নির্যাতনের ভিডিও সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যম ফেসবুকে প্রকাশ পেলে তা ভাইরাল হয়।
