আজ কলকাতার উত্তীর্ণ হলে করোনা সেভ হোমের শুভ সুচনা করেন কলকাতা পুরসভার প্রাক্তন মেয়র তথা বিদায়ী পৌর ও নগরোন্নয়ন মন্ত্রী ফিরহাদ (ববি) হাকিম। উত্তীর্ণে সেভ হোমের সূচনার পর ববি হাকিম বলেন আমাদের জননেত্রী সবসময় মানুষের পাশে থেকে কাজ করে যান, আমরা তার সৈনিক হিসাবে যেকোন দায়িত্ব মাথায় নিয়ে কাজ করি। তিনি বলেন এখানে মূলত কলকাতা শহরতলীর যেকোন নাগরিকের অক্সিজেনের প্রয়োজন হলে এখান এসে নিতে পারবে এবং যদি রোগীর অবস্থা সঙ্কটাপন্ন হয় তাকে এখান থেকে শম্ভুনাথ পন্ডিত হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার ব্যবস্থা করা হবে। তিনি আরও জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ইচ্ছা আছে এই রকম অক্সিজেন সহ বেডের ব্যবস্থা রাজ্যের অন্যন্ত্র করার। উত্তর্ণী সভাকক্ষে সূচনা অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলকাতা পুরসভার কমিশনার বিনোদ কুমার, উঃ চব্বিশ পরগণা জেলা পরিষদের বন ও ভূমি স্থায়ী সমিতির কর্মাধ্যক্ষ জনাব এ কে এম ফারহাদ সাহেব,কৈলাস খন্ডাবাল,মেয়র পরিষদের সদস্য তারক সিং এবং ডাক্তার,নার্স সহ অন্যান্য বিশিষ্টজনেরা।
