ডেস্ক রিপোর্ট, ঢাকা: বাংলাদেশ সফররত ভারতীয় বিমান বাহিনী প্রধান এয়ার চীফ মার্শাল রাকেশ কুমার সিং ভাদুরিয়া ২৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি মঙ্গলবার সকালে ঢাকা সেনানিবাসস্থ ‘শিখা অনির্বাণ’ পরিদর্শন ও পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করেছেন।
তিনি পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণের মাধ্যমে একাত্তরের মহান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে শাহাদৎ বরণকারী সশস্ত্র বাহিনীর সদস্যদের স্মৃতির প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন। এ সময় তিনি পরিদর্শন বইতেও স্বাক্ষর করেন। বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী প্রধান এয়ার চীফ মার্শাল মাসিহুজ্জামান সেরনিয়াবাতের আমন্ত্রণে ভারতীয় বিমান বাহিনী প্রধান বাংলাদেশ সফর করছেন বলে আজ আন্তঃবাহিনীর জনসংযোগ পরিদপ্তরের (আইএসপিআর) সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়। বাংলাদেশে অবস্থানকালে ভারতীয় বিমান বাহিনী প্রধান সেনা সদর, বিমান সদর, ডিফেন্স সার্ভিসেস কমান্ড অ্যান্ড স্টাফ কলেজ, বঙ্গবন্ধু মেমোরিয়াল মিউজিয়াম, লিবারেশন ওয়ার মিউজিয়াম, সেন্ট মার্টিন দ্বীপ, বিমান বাহিনী ঘাঁটি জহুরুল হক, বিমান বাহিনী ঘাঁটি বীর শ্রেষ্ঠ মতিউর রহমানসহ বিভিন্ন সামরিক ও বেসামরিক স্থাপনা পরিদর্শন করবেন। দু’সদস্যের প্রতিনিধিসহ ভারতীয় বিমান বাহিনী প্রধান গতকাল সোমবার পাঁচ দিনের সরকারি সফরে বাংলাদেশে আসেন। তার এই সফরের মাধ্যমে উভয় দেশের পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতার ক্ষেত্র সম্প্রসারিত হবে এবং বিদ্যমান বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ সম্পর্ক আরও সুদৃঢ় হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।
