পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর:- বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে মেদিনীপুর কলেজিয়েট মাঠ থেকে এক ব্যক্তির মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে কোতোয়ালি থানার পুলিশ l পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, মৃতের নাম অশোক রানা (পঁয়তাল্লিশ) l শহরের হোমিওপ্যাথিক মেডিকেল কলেজ এলাকায় থাকলেও তার বাড়ি ঝাড়গ্রামের  সর্দিহা গ্রামে l বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা মৃতদেহটি কলিজিয়েট মাঠে পড়ে থাকতে দেখে পুলিশে খবর দেন l এরপর পুলিশ এসে মৃতদেহটি উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য মেদিনীপুর মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠায় l মৃত যুবকের স্ত্রী জানিয়েছেন, পেশায় নির্মাণ শ্রমিক তার স্বামীর এই লকডাউনে কোনো কাজ ছিল না বলে কিছুদিন ধরে একটি ফাস্টফুডের দোকানে কাজ করছিল l তবে হাতে টাকা পয়সা না থাকায় মানসিক অবসাদে ভুগছিল l পুলিশ জানিয়েছে তদন্ত শুরু হয়েছে l ময়নাতদন্তের পর মৃত্যুর প্রকৃত কারণ জানা যাবে l
