পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর :- শ্রমিক স্পেশ্যাল ট্রেন থেকে বিপুল টাকা ও সোনা উদ্ধার ঘিরে চাঞ্চল্য খড়গপুরে। দিল্লি-ভুবনেশ্বর রাজধানী শ্রমিক স্পেশ্যাল এক্সপ্রেসের কামরায় এক ব্যক্তির কাছ থেকে প্রায় এক কিলো সোনা ও নগদ ১১ লাখ টাকা ক্যাশ উদ্ধার করলেন রেলের সুরক্ষা বাহিনীর জওয়ানরা। গোপন সূত্রে পুলিশ জানতে পারে, ওই ট্রেনে এক ব্যক্তি তার পরিবারের সঙ্গে এই বিপুল পরিমাণ টাকা ও সোনা-সহ সফর করছে। শুক্রবার রাতে ওই ট্রেনটি খড়গপুরের হিজলি স্টেশনে এলে ওই ব্যক্তির কাছ থেকে টাকা ও সোনা উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ।
জানা গিয়েছে, ঘাটালের বাসিন্দা ওই ব্যক্তি তার পরিবারের সঙ্গে ওই ট্রেনে দিল্লি থেকে ফিরছিল। তবে এত নগদ টাকা ও প্রায় এক কিলো সোনা কোথা থেকে নিয়ে আসছিল তার কোনও বৈধ কাগজ না দেখাতে পারায় তাকে ও তার পরিবারকে খড়্গপুরের হিজলি স্টেশনের রেল সুরক্ষা বাহিনীর জওয়ানরা আটক করেন। ঘটনায় দু’জনকে আটক করে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ চালিয়ে যাচ্ছেন রেলওয়ে সুরক্ষা বাহিনী জওয়ানরা।
