উত্তরপ্রদেশ: যোগীরাজ্যে নিষ্ক্রিয় পুলিশ, জঙ্গলে গণধর্ষিতা যুবতী হতাশায় আত্মঘাতী ! ফের উত্তরপ্রদেশের বদায়ুঁ গণধর্ষ ঘটনায় পুলিশের নিষ্ক্রিয়তার অভিযোগ,কাঠগড়ায় আবার রাজ্য পুলিশ।রবিবার আত্মহত্যা করলেন এক যুবতী।তাঁর বাড়ি থেকে ঝুলন্ত দেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। নিজেকে শেষ করে দেওয়ার কারণ হিসেবে চিঠিও লিখে গেছেন নির্যাতিতা। নিজের অত্যাচারের সুবিচার চেয়ে জেলার পুলিশ কর্তাদের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেছিলেন নির্যাতিতা। তবে কোনও ফল হয়নি।পুলিশের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ যুবতীর আত্মহত্যার পর পরই পুলিশের বিরুদ্ধে ক্ষোভ বেড়েছে।

জানা গেছে, সম্প্রতি বদায়ুঁ থানায় গণধর্ষণের অভিযোগ দায়ের করতে গিয়েছিলেন। তবে পুলিশি নিষ্ক্রিয়তায় FIR দায়ের হয়নি। এই ঘটনা প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই স্টেশন অফিসারকে সাসপেন্ড করেছেন বদায়ুঁর সিনিয়র পুলিশ সুপার অশোক কুমার।প্রসঙ্গত, ঘটনায় এখনও কোনও গ্রেফতার হয়নি। পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ৩ জনের বিরুদ্ধে FIR দায়ের করা হয়েছে।
