পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর: তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস এর ২১ তম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে কম্বল বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠান। আজ ইংরেজি বছরের প্রথম দিন, আবার পশ্চিম বঙ্গের একচ্ছত্র অধিপতি তথা বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের তৈরী নুতন রাজনৈতিক দল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস এর ২১ তম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী আজ।
সেই উপলক্ষে মেদিনীপুর শহরের মহিলা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস, ৫ নং ওয়ার্ড তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস কমিটির উদ্যোগে শহরের স্টেশন রোড সংলগ্ন এলাকায় আয়োজিত হয় নানা সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান এবং কম্বল বিতরণ। অনুষ্ঠানে প্রায় ৫০০ জন গরীব মানুষদেরকে কম্বল বিতরণ করা হয়। উপস্থিত ছিলেন শহরের বিধায়ক মৃগেন মাইতি, প্রদ্যুৎ ঘোষ, শহর মহিলা সভাপতি মৌ রায়, সুসময় মুখার্জি, ওয়ার্ড সভাপতি কুশধ্বজ পাঁজা, কল্পনা মুখার্জি, সরকারী আইনজীবী গৌতম মল্লিক সহ অন্যান্য নেতৃত্ববৃন্দ।
