পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর: বাইরে থেকে এসে পোস্টার লাগিয়ে হুমকির পরিবেশ তৈরি করতে চাইছে মাওবাদীরা। এতে কাজ হবে না। মানুষ প্রতিবাদ করবে এমনটাই জানালেন রাজ্য সভার সাংসদ মানস রঞ্জন ভুঁইয়া। শনিবার বিকেলে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার পিংলা ব্লকের নয়াতে পটচিত্র মেলায় উপস্থিত হয়েছিলেন তিনি। সঙ্গে ছিলেন সবং বিধানসভার বিধায়ক গীতা রানী ভুঁইয়া, পিংলা পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি বীরেন মাইতি সহ অনান্যরা।
সেখানে মানস ভুঁইয়াকে শুভেন্দু অধিকারীর মাথা চেয়ে মাওবাদী পোস্টার বেরোনোর কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করায় তিনি বলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের আমলে অনান্য রাজ্যের মতো পশ্চিমবঙ্গে সেরকম কিছু হয়নি। বাইরে থেকে দু চারজন এসে হুমকি দেওয়া পোস্টার দিয়ে কিছু লাভ হবে না। এরাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় রাজ্যের সার্বিক উন্নয়ন করেছে। আর এই ব্যাপারটা পুলিশ তদন্ত করছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গে এই ধমক আর হুমকি চলবে না।
অপরদিকে এই পটচিত্র মেলায় উপস্থিত হয়ে বিধায়ক তহবিল থেকে এলাকার পটচিত্র শিল্পীদের উন্নয়নের জন্য এক লক্ষ্য টাকা আর্থিক সাহায্য ঘোষনা করলেন বিধায়ক গীরা রানী ভুঁইয়া।
