ঝাড়গ্রাম:- রাতভর টানা বৃষ্টিতে ঝাড়গ্রাম শহর জলমগ্ন। নিকাশির বেহাল দশার জেরে সমস্যায় সাধারণ মানুষ। রাতভর বৃষ্টির জেরে জলের তলায় ঝাড়গ্রাম। একাধিক এলাকায় বাড়ি ভেঙে পড়ার খবর মিলেছে। অবিরাম বৃষ্টিতে ঝাড়গ্রাম পৌরসভার ৭ থেকে ৮টি ওয়ার্ড জলমগ্ন। গতরাতের বৃষ্টিতে বেহাল দশা এলাকার। দুর্ভোগে পড়েছেন অফিসযাত্রী থেকে পথচলতি সাধারণ মানুষ।রাতভর বৃষ্টিতে ঝাড়গ্রাম পৌরসভার ১, ২, ৫, ৬, ৯, ১১, ১২ ও ১৪ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের সর্বত্র জলমগ্ন। এর জেরে মানুষের স্বাভাবিক কাজকর্ম প্রায় বন্ধ। স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের অভিযোগ, বেহাল নিকাশি ব্যবস্থার সমস্যা নিয়ে পৌরসভার কাছে একাধিকবার অভিযোগ জানিয়েও সুরাহা হয়নি। এই পরিস্থিতিতে এদিন সকালে ক্ষিপ্ত জনতা শহরের ১১ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডে অবস্থিত রাজবাড়ি ট্যুরিস্ট লজে হামলা চালায়। ভাঙচুর করা হয় পর্যটক আবাসের সম্পত্তি। উল্লেখ্য, আগামী ৮ আগস্ট ঝাড়গ্রামে গিয়ে ওই পর্যটক আবাসেই থাকার কথা রয়েছে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের। ঝাড়গ্রামের জেলা শাসক রানি এ আয়েষা পুর এলাকার সব স্কুলে ছুটি ঘোষণা করেছেন।
