এক কলেজ ছাত্রীর রহস্যজনক মৃত্যুকে ঘিরে ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ।কালিয়াগঞ্জ এক কলেজ ছাত্রীর রহস্যজনক মৃত্যুকে ঘিরে ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য দেখা দিয়েছে উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার কালিয়াগঞ্জ থানার সাহেবঘাটা এলাকায়।এলাকার লোকজন বাড়ির পাশে বাগানে একটি গাছে ঝুলন্ত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে ওই ছাত্রীটিকে। তাকে রায়গঞ্জ জেলা হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হলে চিকিৎসকেরা মৃত বলে ঘোষনা করে। মৃত ছাত্রীর নাম সুচিত্রা রায় ( ১৯)। সুচিত্রা ইটাহার মেঘনাথ সাহা কলেজের দ্বিতীয় বর্ষের ছাত্রী ছিল। পুলিশ ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে।কালিয়াগঞ্জের বালুপাড়ার বাসিন্দা সুচিত্রা রায় ইটাহার মেঘনাদ সাহা কলেজে পড়াশুনার জন্য ইটাহার সংলগ্ন সাহেবঘাটা গ্রামে তার দিদিমার কাছে থাকত।
আজ সকালে বাড়ির অন্যান্যরা কাজে চলে গেলে সেই ফাকে সুচিত্রা বাড়ির পাশের বাগানের একটি গাছে গলায় ফাঁস লাগিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করে। সুচিত্রার পিসতুতো দাদা রতন চৌধুরী বলেন, আজ সকালেও সুচিত্রার সাথে কথা বলেছেন, কোনও অস্বাভাবিকতা দেখা যায়নি সুচিত্রার মধ্যে। সে সকালে বিছানাতেই শুয়ে ছিল। এরপর তিনি বাজারে চলে যান। বাজার থেকে ফিরেই এই ঘটনা জানতে পেরে হতবাক হয়ে যান তিনি। কলেজ ছাত্রী সুচিত্রা কেন আত্মহত্যা করল সে বিষয়ে কোনও উত্তর জানা নেই তাদের। সুচিত্রার মৃত্যু নিয়ে ক্রমশ রহস্য ঘনীভূত হচ্ছে। তার মৃতদেহ ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য রায়গঞ্জ জেলা হাসপাতালে পাঠানোর পাশাপাশি ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে কালিয়াগঞ্জ থানার পুলিশ।
