বিকাশ সাহাঃ জলে তলিয়ে যাওয়া সন্তোষী রবিদাসের (পূজা রবিদাস) মৃতদেহ এদিন ভেসে উঠলো শ্রীমতী নদীর জলে। উল্লেখ্য শনিবার দুপুরে কালিয়াগঞ্জের ১৫ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের রেল কলোনীর বাসিন্দা ১৪ বছর বয়সী তুলসী পাশওয়ান ও পূজা রবিদাস(১৮) সহ মোট পাঁচজন বান্ধবী মিলে শান্তি কলোনীর শ্মশান ঘাটে শ্রীমতী নদীতে স্নান করতে আসে। বাড়ি থেকে রেল লাইন ধরে হাঁটা পথে মিনিট পাঁচেকের রাস্তা পেরিয়ে অন্যান্য দিনের মতো এদিনও বান্ধবীরা মিলে স্নান করতে আসে নদীতে। হটাত করে পা পিছলে পূজা রবিদাসকে তলিয়ে যেতে দেখে অপর বান্ধবী তুলসী, পুজাকে উদ্ধার করতে যায়। সেই সময় তুলসীও তলিয়ে যাওয়ার উপক্রম হলে স্থানীয় মানুষজন জলে নেমে কোনও ক্রমে তুলসীকে উদ্ধার করে। তুলসীকে আশঙ্কাজনক অবস্থায় সঙ্গে সঙ্গে কালিয়াগঞ্জ স্টেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়ায় প্রাণে বেঁচে যায় সে। নদীর জলে ডোবার পর থেকে শনিবার রাত পর্যন্ত পুজার কোনও হদিশ পাওয়া যায়নি । কালিয়াগঞ্জ থানার বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী ও দমকল কর্মীরা স্থানীয় মানুষদের সাহায্যে শনিবার সন্ধ্যে পর্যন্ত নদীর জলে বড় মাছ ধরার বঁড়শি ফেলে টানা টানি করেও কোনও মৃতদেহের হদিশ পায়নি। এদিন রবিবার সকালে প্রাতঃভ্রমণকারীরা শ্রীমতী নদীর শ্মশান ঘাটের উল্টো দিকে সন্তোষীর মৃতদেহ ভাসতে দেখে। মৃতদেহ দেখতে নদীর পাড়ে ভিড় জমান কয়েকশ মানুষ। খবর পেয়ে কালিয়াগঞ্জ থানার পুলিশ এসে জল থেকে মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে রায়গঞ্জ জেলা হাসপাতালে ময়নাতদন্তে পাঠায়।
