হাওড়া- আমতা: বাস ও টাটা সুমোর মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষে আহত ১৫, ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে শনিবার বেলায় আমতা রানিহাটি রাজ্য সড়কের আমতা চাখানার কাছে। স্থানীয়সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, আমতা সাঁকরাইল রুটের বাস যাত্রী নিয়ে সাঁকরাইল থেকে আমতা যাচ্ছিল উল্টো দিক থেকে আসা একটি টাটা সুমো রানিহাটি দিকে যাওয়ার সময় মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ হয়। স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এসে আহতদের উদ্ধার করে আমতা গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যায়। আশঙ্কাজনক অবস্থায় সকলকে উলুবেরিয়া মহাকুমা হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তরিত করা হয়। খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে আসে আমতা থানার পুলিশ। জাওয়াদ ঝড়ের দাপটে সকাল থেকেই শুরু হয়েছে বৃষ্টি। বৃষ্টির জেরে এমন ঘটনা ঘটতে পারে বলে অনুমান পুলিশের। ঘটনার জেরে কিছুক্ষণ যানচলাচল অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে পড়ে আমতা রানিহাটি রাজ্য সড়কে।
