শহর কলকাতার মানুষের সুবিধার্থে কলকাতা পুরসভার উদ্যোগে শুরু হলো- আধার সেভা কেন্দ্র। মূলত নতুন আধার কার্ড করা থেকে শুরু করে আধার কার্ডে কোন ভুলত্রুটি থাকলে তার রেক্টিফিকেশন করতে এবং আধার কার্ড জনিত কোন সমস্যা থাকলে এবার থেকে আর ব্যাংক ও পোস্ট অফিসে লাইন দিতে হবে না শহরবাসীকে। কলকাতা পুরসভার সদরদপ্তর এর পাশেই রক্সি সিনেমা হলে শুরু হল- আধার সেভা কেন্দ্র। সোম থেকে শনিবার সরকারি কর্ম দিবসের মধ্যে শহর কলকাতা শহরতলি ও অন্যান্য এলাকার মানুষ তাদের আধার কার্ড জনিত সমস্যা নিয়ে এখানে এলেই তৎক্ষণাৎ মিলবে পরিষেবা। আগে ব্যাংক বা পোস্ট অফিসে আধার কার্ড সংক্রান্ত যে কোন কাজ কর্ম করতে গেলে সেখানে বাধ্যতামূলকভাবে একাউন্ট খুলতে হত সাধারণ মানুষকে। এখন তার আর প্রয়োজন হবে না বলে এদিন জানালেন কলকাতা পুরসভার বর্তমান প্রশাসক মন্ডলীর চেয়ারম্যান ফিরহাদ হাকিম।
( বিজ্ঞাপন ) আধার সেভা কেন্দ্র এর পাশাপাশি এদিন স্বাস্থ্যসাথীর একটি হেল্পডেস্ক বা কিয়সকের শুভ সূচনা করলেন ফিরহাদ। স্বাস্থ্য সাথীর নতুন কার্ড করানো এবং এ সংক্রান্ত যেকোন সমস্যার সমাধানে এই হেল্পডেস্ক সাধারণ মানুষের সমস্যার সমাধান করতে প্রস্তুত থাকবে, বলেও জানালেন ফিরহাদ হাকিম।
