পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার শহীদ মাতঙ্গিনী ব্লকের অন্তর্গত সাতটিকরি গ্রামে ব্লক কৃষিদপ্তরের উদ্যোগে আজ বীজধান তুলে দেওয়া হলো।ব্লকের খররেখা, হুড়িনান,দীপকিশোরপুর এলাকার ৩০০ কৃষকের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হল এই বীজ ধান।জাতীয় খাদ্য সুরক্ষা মিশন প্রকল্পে কৃষিদপ্তরের সহায়তায় এই সংশোধিত বীজধান ও বীজশোধনের ঔষধ ও কীটনাশক ঔষধ বিনামূল্যে তুলে দেওয়া হয়। বীজধান তুলে দেন শহিদ মাতঙ্গিনী পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির কৃষি কর্মাধ্যক্ষ গৌরহরি মাজী,কৃষিদপ্তরের অ্যাসিস্টেন্ট এ ই ও সুব্রত সামন্ত।
