পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর:- ভারতীয় রেলে মহিলা যাত্রীদের সুরক্ষার জন্য দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব রেলে শুরু হল My Saheli প্রকল্প। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে কোন মহিলা যাত্রী ট্রেনের সফরকালে 182 ডায়াল করলেই, মহিলা আরপিএফ কর্মী ঐ যাত্রীর সুরক্ষার জন্য হাজির হবেন, খড়্গপুরে রেলওয়ে সুরক্ষা বাহিনীর ১০৮তম কনেস্টবল ব্যাচের দীক্ষান্ত সমারোহে উপস্থিত হয়ে একথা জানান, দক্ষিণ পূর্ব রেলের IG দেবেন্দ্র বি কাসর। শুক্রবারই হাওড়া যশবন্ত পুর ট্রেনে এই পরিষেবা পাইলট প্রকল্প হিসেবে চালু করা হয়েছে। শনিবার ঐ ট্রেন টি যশবন্ত পুর স্টেশনে পৌছানোর পর আরপিএফের মহিলা সুরক্ষ কর্মীরা ট্রেনে সফররত মহিলা যাত্রীদের সুরক্ষা সমন্ধে অনুভূতির কথা জানবেন বলে জানান আই জি।
উল্লেখ্য, খড়্গপুরে, রেলের জোনাল প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র RPFএর ১০৮তম কনেস্টবল বাহিনীর ১৪৩জন জওয়ান এদিন প্রশিক্ষণ পর্ব শেষ করলো। ভারতীয় রেলের 17টি জোন থেকে এই ১৪৩ জন কনেস্টবল পদমর্যাদার সুরক্ষাকর্মী দের আজ আট মাস ধরে চলা প্রশিক্ষণ শেষ হলো। এই প্রশিক্ষণ পর্বে আট মাসের মধ্যে কয়েক মাস করোনা পরিস্থিতির সঙ্গে মোকাবিলা করে উপযুক্ত সাবধানতা অবলম্বন করে বিভিন্ন ধরণের প্রশিক্ষণ নিতে হয়েছে বলে আই জি জানান ।
