কলকাতা : সিইএসসির চলতি মাসের বিলে অস্বাভাবিক বৃদ্ধি নিয়ে ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করলেন খোদ বিদ্যুৎমমন্ত্রী শোভনদেব চট্টোপাধ্যায়। এক ভিডিও বার্তায় মন্ত্রী বলেন সাধারণ মানুষের এক কঠিন সময়ের মধ্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছেন এই সময় ইলেকট্রিক বিল এতটাই বৃদ্ধি ঘটেছে যা সাধারণ মানুষকে চরম বিপাকের মধ্যে ফেলেছে। এই নিয়ে তিনি সিইএসসি কে ফোন করে যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
তার নিজের বাড়ির ইলেকট্রিক বিলও অতিরিক্ত এসেছে বলে জানিয়েছেন তিনি।করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে বিদ্যুৎ মন্ত্রীর বাড়িতে এবার বিদুৎ বিল ১১ হাজার টাকা। করোনা পরিস্থিতে বিদ্যুতের অতিরিক্ত বিল আসছিল এমন অভিযোগ করা হয়েছিল গ্রাহকদের পক্ষ থেকে। বিভিন্ন সময় রাজনৈতিক দল গুলি অতিরিক্ত বিদুৎ বিলের দাবিতে সিইএসসি ভবনের সামনে বিক্ষোভ দেখিয়েছিলেন। এদিন মন্ত্রী জানিয়েছেন, অস্বাভাবিক বিল এসেছে। আগে কখনো অতিরিক্ত বিল আসে নি। যদিও গত দুমাস মিটার রিডিং নেওয়া হয়নি। পুরো বিষয়টি সিইএসসি কর্তাকে জানানো হয়েছে।
