পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর:- মাস্ক বিতরণ কর্মসূচিতে যোগ দিতে যাওয়ার পথে তৃণমূল সাংসদ মানস ভূঁইয়াকে ঘিরে বিক্ষোভ দেখালো বিজেপি কর্মীরা। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার সবংয়ের ১৩নং বিষ্ণুপুর অঞ্চলে আজ বিষ্ণুপুর অঞ্চলের মাস্ক বিতরণ কর্মসূচিতে যোগদান করার কথা ছিলো সাংসদ মানস ভূঁইয়ার। সেইমত বিষ্ণুপুর অঞ্চলে রহনা দেন সাংসদ। বিষ্ণুপুর ঢোকার আগেই রাস্তায় কাঠের গুড়ি ফেলে ধানচারা রোপন করে মানস ভূঁইয়া ও বিধায়ক গীতা ভূঁঞাকে ঘিরে বিক্ষোভ দেখালো বিজেপি কর্মীরা।
পুলিশ বিক্ষোভ সরাতে গেলে পুলিশের সঙ্গে হস্থাসস্তি হয় বিজেপি কর্মীদের। প্রবল বিক্ষোভের মুখে পড়ে বাধ্যগত পিছু হটতে হয় সাংসদ মানস ভূঁইয়াকে। ঘটনায় ব্যাপক উত্তেজনা রয়েছে ঘটনাস্থলে রয়েছে সবং থানার পুলিশ।বিজেপির কর্মীদের অভিযোগ মানস ভূঁইয়া 13বছর ধরে এলাকার বিধায়ক ছিলেন এলাকায় কোনো উন্নয় হয়নি,নিজের স্ত্রীকে গীতা ভূঁইয়া ভোটে দাঁড় করিয়ে ছাপ্পা ভোট দিয়ে জেতালো। উন্নয়নের নাম করে নিজের ছেলেকে আমেরিকায় রেখে পড়াশুনা করাচ্ছে।
