কলকাতা: পেট্রোপণ্যের অস্বাভাবিক মূল্যবৃদ্ধির প্রতিবাদে প্রদেশ কংগ্রেস এবং বাম দলগুলির যৌথ আন্দোলনে উত্তাল হল ময়দান এলাকা। শুরু হল রাস্তায় নেমে যৌথ আন্দোলনের কর্মসূচি।সব দলের কর্মীদের উদ্দীপনা ছিল চোখে পড়ার মত।
কলকাতার সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই বিভিন্ন জেলায় একই ভাবে কংগ্রেস এবং বাম দলের নেতা-কর্মীরা পথে নেমে বিক্ষোভ প্রদর্শন করে। আজ কলকাতায় রেড রোডে বাম – কংগ্রেস কর্মীরা দলের পতাকা এবং পোস্টার নিয়ে যথাসম্ভব সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে প্রায় ৪৫ মিনিট বিক্ষোভ দেখায়। সোমেন মিত্র , প্রদীপ ভট্টাচার্য , বিমান বসু , সুজন চক্রবর্তী , মহম্মদ সেলিম সহ কংগ্রেস – বাম নেতৃবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
হুগলী জেলার শ্রীরামপুরে বিরোধী দলের নেতা আব্দুল মান্নান , সিপিএম নেতা প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রী সুদর্শন রায় চৌধুরী , রূপচাঁদ পাল সহ অনেক নেতা কর্মী বিক্ষোভ দেখায়।
