ঘূর্ণিঝড় ‘আমফান’-জনিত সম্ভাব্য ক্ষয়ক্ষতির মোকাবিলায় আগামিকাল সকাল ৮টা থেকে অন্তত টানা ৪৮ ঘন্টা( প্রয়োজনে আরও বেশি) কলকাতা পুলিশে অষ্টপ্রহর চালু থাকবে বিশেষ কন্ট্রোল রুম।দায়িত্বে থাকবেন পদস্থ আধিকারিকরা। সমন্বয়ে থাকবেন কলকাতা পুরসভা, পূর্ত দফতর, দমকল বিভাগ এবং অন্যান্য সরকারি পরিষেবা সংস্থাগুলির পদস্থ আধিকারিকরা। তৈরি থাকছে আমাদের বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা বাহিনী, পরিস্থিতি মোকাবিলার পূর্ণাঙ্গ রূপরেখা নিয়ে।
