আর্সেনিক দূষণ প্রতিরোধ কমিটির রাজ্য সম্পাদক অশোক দাস আর্সেনিক কবলিত উত্তর২৪ পরগনার গাইঘাটা ব্লকের সুটিয়া অঞ্চলের বিন্ষুপুরে যান ও আর্সেনিক আক্রান্ত রোগীদের সাথে কথা বলেন। লকডাউন এর ফলে বহু আর্সেনিক রোগী খাদ্য ও ওষুধ জোগাড় করতে পারছেন না । তারা বিনা চিকিৎসায় আছেন। অবিলম্বে রাজ্যের সমস্ত আর্সেনিক আক্রান্তদের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় খাদ্য, ওষুধ ও চিকিৎসার দাবি জানান আর্সেনিক দূষণ প্রতিরোধ কমিটি। দ্রুত সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা না হলে অনেক আর্সেনিক আক্রান্ত রোগীর মৃত্যু হবে।
