করোনার সংক্রমণ রুখতে তৎপর রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তর। এছাড়া এমন পরিস্থিতিতে বেশ কয়েকটি নির্দেশ দিয়েছে প্রশাসন। এছাড়া করোনাভাইরাস নিয়ে শহরবাসীকে সচেতন করতে ‘প্রণাম’ ও ‘তেজস্বিনী’র মতো সামাজিক প্রকল্পকে কাজে লাগাতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন পুলিশ কমিশনার অনুজ শর্মা। আজ রবিবার দুপুর থেকেই শহরের প্রত্যেকটি শপিং মলে গেল পুলিশের টিম। পোস্টার দিয়ে চলল প্রচার। সুত্রের খবর ৩১ মার্চ পর্যন্ত বন্ধ থাকবে জাদুঘর, বিড়লা ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল মিউজিয়াম, সায়েন্স সিটি, ভিক্টোরিয়া মেমোরিয়াল মিউজিয়াম। এছাড়া সরকারি তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, ভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ ধরা পড়লে অথবা সংক্রমণ সন্দেহে এখানেই আইসোলেশনে রাখা হবে রোগীদের। দরকার পড়লে আরও হাসপাতালের আরও ৫০টি বেড ব্যবহার করা হবে।
