আন্তরাজ্য মহিলা পাচারকারীর কাজে যুক্ত চারজনকে পুনে থেকে গ্রেফতার করল বারুইপুর পুলিশ জেলার বিশেষ পুলিশ টিম। জানা যাচ্ছে ধৃতদের মধ্যে তিনজন মহিলা। বারুইপুর মহিলা থানার আইসি কাকলী ঘোষ কুন্ডুর নেতৃত্বে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে মোট ২ জন নাবালিকাকে। সুত্রের খবর মোট ২৫জন বাঙালী মেয়েকে উদ্ধার করেন তারা। পাশাপাশি বাকিরা সাবালক হওযায় তারা ফেরত আসতে চাননি। আরও জানা গিয়েছে উদ্ধার কাজে গিয়ে একাধিকবার বাধার সম্মুখীন হতে হয়েছে বারুইপুর পুলিশ জেলার পুলিশ টিমকে। এমনকি ষ্টেশনে ঢোকার সময়েও সমস্যায় পড়তে হয় তাদের। বারুইপুর পুলিশ জেলার পুলিশ সুপার রশিদ মুনির খান জানান এরা একাধিক পাচার কাজের সাথে জড়িত। ইতিমধ্যে নির্যাতিতা মহিলাদের নিয়ে এদের সনাক্তকরণ কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। আরও একাধিক উদ্ধারকারী মহিলাদের নিয়ে তাদের সনাক্তকরণ করা হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন পুলিশ সুপার।
