মিজান রহমান, ঢাকা: আগামী ২৪ জানুয়ারি শুক্রবার রাজধানী ঢাকায় ২০তম ইকরা আন্তর্জাতিক কিরাত সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। জাতীয় মসজিদ বায়তুল মোকাররম চত্বরে সম্মেলনটি সকাল ৯টায় শুরু হয়ে চলবে রাত ১০টা পর্যন্ত। আন্তর্জাতিক কোরআন তিলাওয়াত সংস্থার (ইকরা) আয়োজনে ও পিএইচপি ফ্যামিলির পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় অনুষ্ঠিত হবে এবারের সম্মেলন। সম্মেলনে ধর্ম প্রতিমন্ত্রী শেখ মোহাম্মদ আবদুল্লাহ প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থাকবেন। প্রধান পৃষ্ঠপোষক হিসেবে উপস্থিত থাকবেন পিএইচপি ফ্যামিলির চেয়ারম্যান সুফী মুহাম্মদ মিজানুর রহমান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে থাকবেন সংসদ সদস্য বজলুল হক হারুন, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনের মহাপরিচালক মু. আবদুল হামিদ জমাদ্দার, পুলিশের অতিরিক্ত মহাপরিদর্শক মাহবুব হোসেন, জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাবের সভাপতি সাইফুল আলম ও বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত বিভিন্ন রাষ্ট্রের রাষ্ট্রদূত।

এ বছর জর্ডানের প্রখ্যাত কারি শাইখ ড. সামিহ আল আসামেনাহ, মিসরের শাইখ আদিল আল বায, ইরানের কারি কারিম মানসুরি, মরক্কোর শাইখ আহমাদ আল–খালদি, তুরস্কের কারি হুসাইন তুরকান, মালয়েশিয়ার কারি ওয়ান আইনুদ্দিন হিলমি ও থাইল্যান্ডের কারি মুয়ায মুস্তফা সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহণ করবেন। সম্মেলনে সভাপতিত্ব করবেন ইকরার বর্তমান সভাপতি বাংলাদেশের বিশ্বখ্যাত কারি শাইখ আহমাদ বিন ইউসুফ আল আযহারি। ইকরা গত ২৯ বছরে ১৯ বার আন্তর্জাতিক কিরাত সম্মেলনের আয়োজন করেছে।
