ঝাড়গ্রাম:- রঙিন শাড়ি আর নাচের ছন্দবন্ধে অরণ্য শহরের ননীবালা বয়েজ স্কুল মাঠে ঢুকছে একের পর এক নৃত্যগোষ্ঠী। ঝাড়গ্রাম শহরে শুরু হল জঙ্গলমহল উৎসব ২০২০ । এ বার উৎসবের ষষ্ঠ বর্ষ। ঝাড়গ্রাম শহরের ননীবালা বয়েজ স্কুল মাঠে ২০ জানুয়ারী থেকে ২৫ জানুয়ারী পর্যন্ত ৬দিন ধরে চলবে উৎসব। জঙ্গলমহল উৎসব ২০২০ এর শুভ সূচনা করলেন মন্ত্রী পার্থ চ্যাটার্জী । এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিধানসভার উপাধ্যক্ষ ড. সুকুমার হাঁসদা, পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়ন পর্ষদের মন্ত্রী শান্তিরাম মাহাত,ঝাড়গ্রামের জেলাশাষক আয়েসা রানী এ,পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরের জেলাশাষক, সহ বিশিষ্ঠ আধিকারিকবৃন্দ।
আটদিনের এই উৎসবে পশ্চিমাঞ্চলের ঝাড়গ্রাম, পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর, বাঁকুড়া, পুরুলিয়া, বীরভূম, বর্ধমান ও পশ্চিম বর্ধমান এই সাতটি জেলার লোকশিল্পীরা যোগ দেন। উৎসবে সরকারি বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের ৪২টি স্টল, পাঁচটি সুদৃশ্য প্যাভেলিয়ন, একটি বৃহৎ কারিগরি হাট রয়েছে। এবছর ১০ হাজার লোক শিল্পী অংশগ্রহণ করবে এই উৎসবে। উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে ১৬০০ লোকশিল্পী তাদের বিভিন্ন প্রদর্শনী দেখান।
গত বছর জঙ্গলমহল উৎসবে ২৬ লক্ষ টাকার জিনিস পত্র বিক্রি হয়েছিল। পাশাপাশি এবারে মূল আকর্ষণ থাকবে “তিলকা মাঝি, ঝাঁসির রানি ও বিনয়-বাদল-দীনেশ” সংক্ষিপ্ত জীবনী নিয়ে লেজার শো দেখানো হবে। গত বছর পশ্চিম অঞ্চল উন্নয়ন দফতরের পরিচালনায় এবং উদ্যোগে লেজারের সাহায্যে ক্ষুদিরাম এবং সিধু,কানহুর জীবনের সংক্ষিপ্ত ইতিহাস তুলে ধরা হয়েছিল। এবারে জঙ্গলমহল উৎসবের মূল মঞ্চটিতে লোক শিল্পীদের হাতের তৈরী কারুকার্য দিয়ে সাজিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে। উল্লেখ্য অন্যান্য বারের মতো এবারেও ঝাড়গ্রাম,পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর,বাঁকুড়া,পুরুলিয়া,বীরভূম এবং পশ্চিম বর্ধমানের যে সব ব্লক গুলি জঙ্গলমহল বলে পরিচিত সেই সব ব্লক গুলিকে নিয়েই অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে জঙ্গলমহল উৎসব। জঙ্গলমহল উৎসবে জঙ্গলমহলের ২৪ টি ব্লকের লোক শিল্পকে তুলে ধরতে বিশেষ মঞ্চ করা হয়েছে।উৎসব প্রাঙ্গণে ভিড় করতে শুরু করেছেন উৎসাহী মানুষজন।
উৎসবে থাকছে চাঙ-নাচ, রণ পা নাচ, পাতা নাচ, করম নাচ, বাহা নাচ, ভুয়াং নাচ, সাড়পা নাচ, ঘোড়া নাচ, নাটুয়া নাচ, পাইক নাচ, ঢালি নাচ, রায়বেশে নাচ প্রভৃতি। থাকছে ঝুমুরগান, ভাদুগান, বাউলগান-সহ নানা ধরণের লোকনৃত্য দেখার ও লোকসঙ্গীত শোনার সুযোগ। উৎসব ঘিরে সেজেও উঠেছে ননীবালা বয়েজ স্কুল মাঠ প্রাঙ্গণ।
