কলকাতাঃ আজ বড়দিন। শহরের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে উপছে পড়ছে ভিড়। ইকোপার্ক, ভিক্টোরিয়া মেমোরিয়াল, নিকোপার্ক, চিড়িয়াখানা চত্বর সকাল থেকেই উপছে পড়ছে ভিড়। উৎসবের মেজাজে রাজ্যবাসী। সূত্রের খবর আজ প্রায় সত্তর থেকে আশি হাজার মানুষ চিড়িয়াখানায় ভিড় জমিয়েছেন। বড়দিন উৎসবের আনন্দ, উৎসবের উষ্ণতা গায়ে মেখে সকাল থেকে মানুষ ভিড় জমিয়েছেন শহরের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে।
পাশাপাশি আট থেকে আশি সকলেই ভিড় জমিয়েছেন ইকোপার্কে। এছাড়া নিকোপার্কেও ভিড় জমিয়েছে অনেকেই। বড়দিনে আনন্দ উপভোগ করতে সাধারন মানুষ আজ ভিড় জমিয়েছেন । ইতিমধ্যেই পার্ক স্ট্রিটের অ্যালেন পার্ককে ঘিরে উৎসব শুরু হয়েছে। নানা ধরনের খাবার, সঙ্গে কেক-কফিতে জমে উঠেছে। সবমিলিয়ে উৎসব মুখর রাজ্যবাসী। এছাড়া শহরের বিভিন্ন দর্শনীয় স্থানে সকাল থেকেই লম্বা ভীড় পড়েছে।
সাড়া বছর এই দিনের জন্য অপেক্ষায় থাকে শহরবাসী। এবার সেই উৎসবে মেতে ওঠার পালা। কচিকাচা থেকে শুরু করে আজ বড়োরাও ভিড় জমিয়েছেন আলিপুর চিড়িয়াখানা সহ ইকোপার্কে। উৎসবের আমেজ গায়ে মেখে বড়দিন উপভোগ করছেন রাজ্যবাসী।, মঙ্গলবার পার্ক স্ট্রিট, বো ব্যারাক, ক্যাথিড্রাল চার্চ-সহ শহরের একাধিক জায়গায় যিশুর জন্মের সেই মুহূর্তকে ঘিরে বড়দিনের সাজে মেতে উঠেছিল তিলোত্তমা কলকাতা। বড়দিনের মেজাজে আট থেকে আশি সকলে।
