পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর :- কথা দিয়েছিলেন খড়গপুর বিধানসভা উপনির্বাচনে জিতে এলেই খড়গপুর পুরসভার ৩, ৪ ও ৫ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের সমস্ত মানুষকে ধন্যবাদ জানাতে আসবেন। তাই খড়গপুরে পীরবাবা দরগাহে চাদর চড়িয়ে পুজো দিলেন, পরে খড়গপুর পৌরসভার ৪ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের মানুষকে হাতজোড় করে ধন্যবাদ জানালেন রাজ্যের পরিবহন দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী। পরে স্থানীয় একটি ক্লাবকে এলাকার অসুস্থ মানুষদের জন্য একটি অ্যাম্বুলেন্স এবং স্থানীয় একটি স্কুলকে প্রায় ১০ লক্ষ টাকা অনুদান দিলেন মন্ত্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী।
এর পাশাপাশি যে ব্যবসায়ীরা দিলীপ ঘোষকে প্রত্যাখান করে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের প্রার্থী প্রদীপ সরকারের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছিল, সেই গোলবাজারের ব্যবসায়ীদের বিভিন্ন দাবি-দাওয়া শুনতে গোলবাজারের গুজরাতি মিত্র মন্ডলে উপস্থিত হন মন্ত্রী। যে সমস্ত অভিযোগ শুভেন্দু অধিকারীর কাছে ব্যবসায়ীরা রেখেছেন, এক মাসের মধ্যে সেগুলির সমাধান করে দেবেন বলে আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন মন্ত্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী।
