পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর :- পথ দুর্ঘটনা কে কেন্দ্র করে রণক্ষেত্র গড়বেতার আমলাশুলি। পুলিশ-জনতা খণ্ডযুদ্ধ। পুলিশের ডিএসপি (অপারেশান) সহ পুলিশের ৪ টি গাড়ি ভাঙচুর। সানিওলের মারে আহত ৬ পুলিশ কর্মী। পুলিশের লাঠিচার্জ।
গড়বেতা আমলাশুলি এলাকায় পুলিশ গাড়ির ধাক্কায় মৃত্যু হয় শিবানন্দ দত্ত নামে এক কাপড় ব্যবসায়ীর। এরই প্রতিবাদে আজ সকাল থেকে আমলাশুলি হুমগড় রাজ্য সড়ক অবরোধ করে প্রতিবাদে শামিল হয় স্থানীয়রা। অভিযোগ সেই অবরোধ তুলতে এসে পুলিশ বেপরোয়া লাঠিচার্জ করে। এরপরে ক্ষিপ্ত জনতা পুলিশ কর্মীদের ধরে মারধর করে ও ব্যাপক ভাঙচুর চালানো হয় পুলিশের গাড়িতে। স্থানীয়দের মারে আহত হয় ৬ পুলিশকর্মী।
আহত পুলিশ কর্মীরা ভর্তি কেঁওয়াকল গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে। গোটা ঘটনা ঘিরে ব্যাপক উত্তপ্ত রয়েছে এলাকা। পরিস্থিতি সামলাতে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছেছে বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী॥
