আইএসআই এজেন্ট মন্তব্য করায় সায়ন্তন বসুর বিরুদ্ধে মামলার সিদ্ধান্ত সেলিমের

রাজ্য বিজেপির অন্যতম সাধারণ সম্পাদক সায়ন্তন বসুর বিরুদ্ধে মানহানির মামলা করছেন মহম্মদ সেলিম। প্রয়াত জ্যোতি বসুকে উদ্ধৃত করে গত ৫অক্টোবর করা একটি টুইটের জেরে মহম্মদ সেলিমের টুইটার হ্যান্ডেল শনিবার ব্লক করে দেয় টুইটার কর্তৃপক্ষ। এই প্রসঙ্গেই সায়ন্তন বসু মহম্মদ সেলিমকে ‘আই এস আই এজেন্ট’ বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন। তাঁর এই মন্তব্য রবিবার ‘এই সময়’ এবং টাইমস্‌ অব ইন্ডিয়া’-তে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।

ওই দুটি কাগজের সম্পাদক ও প্রকাশকের বিরুদ্ধেও তিনি এধরণের ঘৃণ্য মন্তব্য প্রকাশের জন্য মামলা করবেন। সায়ন্তন বসু মন্তব্য করেছেন, ‘আইএসআই এজেন্ট হিসেবে মহম্মদ সেলিমের পরিচিতি রয়েছে। ওঁর টুইটার অ্যাকাউন্ট ব্লক করে টুইটার কর্তৃপক্ষ সঠিক কাজ করেছেন।’ এই প্রেক্ষিতে রবিবার মহম্মদ সেলিম জানিয়েছেন, সোমবার কলকাতায় ফিরেই তিনি আইনজীবীদের সঙ্গে কথা বলে মানহানির মামলা দায়ের করবেন। তিনি এখন উত্তরবঙ্গে আছেন।
