নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদনঃ উৎসবের অংগনে আজ সবার আমন্ত্রণ,উৎসবের শোভালোকে আজ আলোকিত মন, অবশেষে প্রতীক্ষার অবসান হল শুক্রবার বিকেলে। রেড রোড মেতে উঠল পুজো কার্নিভালে। চারিদিকে উৎসবের মেজাজে শহরবাসী। এবার মঞ্চটি পুরোপুরি তৈরি হয়েছে বিষ্ণুপুরের টেরাকোটা স্থাপত্য দিয়ে। মোট ৭২ টি পুজো কমিটি কলকাতা, শহরতলী ও জেলা থেকে অংশ গ্রহণ করে।প্রত্যেক ক্লাব পুজো কমিটি কে দুপুর দুটোর মধ্যে রেড রোডে পৌঁছনোর কথা বলা হয়েছিল।
সেইমত আগে থেকেই রেড রোডে পৌঁছে গিয়েছিল প্রতিমা। কলকাতায় অবস্থিত প্রতিটি বিদেশি রাষ্ট্রদূত কর্তাদের আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়েছিল।পাশাপাশি শিল্পী মহলের বিশিষ্টজনরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। শহরতলির পুজোগুলিকে একসঙ্গে দেখার এই কার্নিভালে এ বার অংশ নেওয়া পুজো কমিটির সংখ্যা যেমন বেড়েছে, তেমনই শোভাযাত্রা দেখতে আসা দর্শনার্থীর ভিড়ও ছিল নজরকাড়া।
