বামপন্থী যুব সংগঠন গুলির কর্পোরেশন অভিযান ঘিরে উত্তেজনা

কলকাতা: ডি ওয়াই এফ আই সহ বামপন্থী যুব সংগঠন গুলির কর্পোরেশন অভিযানকে কেন্দ্র করে ধুন্ধুমার কান্ড ঘটল কর্পোরেশন চত্বরে। আন্দোলনকারীদের প্রতিহত করতে হিমশিম খায় পুলিশ। আন্দোলনকারীরা ব্যারিকেড ভাঙার চেষ্টা করলে দুপক্ষের মধ্যে ধস্তাধস্তি বেঁধে যায়।
বামপন্থী যুব সংগঠনগুলির কলকাতা পুরসভা অভিযানকে কেন্দ্র করে উত্তাল হল পুরসভা চত্বর। পুলিশ ও আন্দোলনকারীদের মধ্যে ধস্তাধস্তির জেরে উত্তেজনা ছড়াই ওই এলাকায়। বুধবার কলকাতা পুরসভার 26 হাজার শূন্যপদে নিয়োগের দাবিতে ডি ওয়াই এফ আই সহ বামপন্থী যুব সংগঠন গুলি কর্পোরেশন অভিযানের ডাক দিয়েছিল। সুবোধ মল্লিক স্কোয়ার থেকে মিছিল করে কলকাতা কর্পোরেশনের সামনে পৌঁছাতেই পুলিশি ব্যারিকেড এ আটকে যায় মিছিল। জোর করে ব্যারিকেড ভেঙে কর্পোরেশনে পৌঁছাতে গেলে বাঁধে উত্তেজনা। বেশ কয়েকজন আন্দোলনকারী ব্যারিকেড টপকে কর্পোরেশনেরর দিকে যাওয়ার সময় পুলিশ লাঠিচার্জ ও করে।

বাম যুবনেতা সায়নদীপ মিত্র অভিযোগ করে বলেন কলকাতা পুরসভায় 26 হাজার শূন্য পদ রয়েছে। কিন্তু ওই শূন্য পদ নিয়োগে কোনরকম উচ্চবাচ্য করছে না কলকাতা পুরসভার কর্তারা। দ্রুত যাতে নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয় তার জানান দিতেই এদিনের এই কর্মসূচি।
এদিন আন্দোলনকারীদের পক্ষ থেকে কলকাতার মেয়র- এর কাছে স্মারকলিপি জমা দেওয়া হয়। এদিন শূন্য পদে নিয়োগের পাশাপাশি পুরসভার বিরুদ্ধে দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ তুলে সোচ্চার হোন আন্দোলনকারীরা।
