এক সপ্তাহের মধ্যে রিচার্জ না করলে বন্ধ হবে Airtel-এর কল সার্ভিস। ভারতবর্ষের টেলিকম বাজারে Reliance Jio আসার পর কঠিন ভরাডুবি মধ্যে পরেছে অন্যন্য টেলিফোন সংস্থা। Airtel এবং Vodafone, Idea কে টেক্কা দিয়ে অনেক দিন আগে Reliance Jio বাজিমাত করে দিয়েছে। তাই Airtel এবং Vodafone, Idea কে লাভের জন্য বিভিন্ন পন্থা অবলম্বন করতে হচ্ছে। দেখা গিয়েছে যে, বিরাট ইন্টারনেট সুবিধা এবং ফোন কলেও নানান অফার পাওয়ার কারণে Airtel এবং Vodafone Idea-র গ্রাহকরা কেবল ইনকামিং কল রিসিভ করার জন্য রেখে দিচ্ছিলেন।
কোনও রিচার্জও করাচ্ছেন না। সেই জন্য Airtel এবং Vodafone Idea তরফে থেকে নিয়ম করা হয়েছিল যে, একজন Airtel গ্রাহক রিচার্জ ভ্যালিডিটি শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ার পর আরও ১৫ দিন অবধি ইনকামিং কল রিসিভ করতে পারবেন। Airtel সেই নিয়ম এবার পরিবর্তন করল। এবার Airtel-এর তরফ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে যে, রিচার্জ ভ্যালিডিটি শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ার সাত দিনের মাথায় পুনরায় রিচার্জ না করালে ইনকামিং কলের সুবিধা পুরোপুরি বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হবে।
