ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ সফরে নেই ধোনি! ২০১৯-এর বিশ্বকাপে পরাজয়ের পর অবসর নেওয়া থেকে মুখ ঘুরিয়ে নিলেন মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনি। খবর পাওয়া গেছে, তিনি নিজেই সরে দাঁড়িয়েছেন ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ সফর থেকে। তার পরিপেক্ষিতে অবসরের বিষয়টা আরও সামনে আসতে থাকে। তবে মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনি এ বছরে নয় ২০২০ সালে ক্রিকেট থেকে অবসর নেবেন। প্রাক্তন কোচ কেশব বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় এমনটাই জানালেন। কেশব বাবু বিশ্বাস করেন যে অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিত টি টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ খেলার পরে অবসর নেবেন মাহি।
আর কেশব বাবুর মতে প্রাক্তন ভারতীয় অধিনায়ক টি টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপে খেলার জন্য ফর্মে রয়েছেন। সূত্রের খবর, ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ড অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় টি টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ খেলার পরে ধোনি যে অবসর নেবে সেরকম কোনো কথা বলেননি। শুক্রবার মুম্বইয়ে ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ সফরে যাওয়ার দল নির্বাচন। তবে সম্ভাবনা করা যাচ্ছে যে ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজে উইকেটকিপার হিসেবে ঋষভ পন্থকে আশা করা যাচ্ছে।
