জীবনতলায় বাজ্রপাতে মৃত্যু ২ জখম ২ জন

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ক্যানিং : মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে প্রচন্ড দাবদাহে আকাশ সামান্য ঘনীভুত হয়ে বৃষ্টি নামার অপেক্ষায়।আর সেই মুহূর্তে আচমকা বৃষ্টিপাত আর বিদ্যুৎতের ঝলকানিতে বাজ্রপাতে মৃত্যু হয় নবম শ্রেণীর ২ জন ছাত্র এবং জখম হয় ২ জন ছাত্র ছাত্রী।মৃত ছাত্রদের নাম আনিসুর রহমান লস্কর(১৫),সুজাউদ্দিন মোল্ল্যা(১৫) এবং জখম কাশ্মীরা সরদার,আমিনুল হালদার।ঘটনাটি ঘটে দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার জীবনতলা থানার গোবিন্দ নগর হোমরাপলতা হাইস্কুল এলাকায়।স্থানীয় সুত্রে জানা গিয়েছে এদিন দুপুরে হোমরাপলতা হাইস্কুলের টিফিনের সময় সামান্য ঝড়বৃষ্টি শুরু হলে মেঘের গর্জন প্রচন্ড হারে হতে থাকে।স্কুলে টিফিন থাকায় ছাত্র ছাত্রীরা স্কুলের বাইরেই​ দাঁড়িয়েছিল।ঝড়বৃষ্টি শুরু হলে একটি গাছের তলায় আশ্রয় নেয় তারা।

হঠাৎই​ বিদ্যুৎতের ঝলকানির মতো বাজ্রপাত পড়লে হোমরাপলতা হাইস্কুলের এক নবম শ্রেণীর ছাত্রের ঘটনাস্থলে মৃত্যু হয় এবং গুরুতর জখম হয় আরও ৩ জন ছাত্র ছাত্রী।স্থানীয় মানুষজন বিষয়টি দেখতে পেয়ে জখম ছাত্র ছাত্রী কে উদ্ধার করে ক্যানিং মহকুমা হাসপাতালে নিয়ে এলে চিকিৎসকরা এক ছাত্রকে মৃত বলে ঘোষনা করে।বাকী এক ছাত্রী ও ছাত্র হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন।আর এই ঘটনায় এলাকায় নেমে আসে শোকের ছায়া।এদিকে খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে আসে পুলিশ বাহিনী।পুলিশ দেহ দুটি উদ্ধার করে ময়না তদন্তে জন্য হাসপাতালের মর্গে পাঠায়।পুলিশ জানান হঠাৎই বজ্রপাতে ২ জন ছাত্রের মৃত্যু হয় এবং জখম হয় ২ জন ছাত্র ছাত্রী।জখম ছাত্র ছাত্রী হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন।দেহ দুটি উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে।
