দেশের এমার্জেন্সি নিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীকে কটাক্ষ মমতার।মোদীর জামানায় প্রথম ৫ বছরে সুপার এমার্জেন্সি চলেছে দেশে’এরকমি মঙ্গলবার ট্যুইটে কটাক্ষ করলেন বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।১৯৭৫ সালের ২৫ জুন তত্কালীন প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইন্দিরা গান্ধী দেশজুড়ে জরুরি অবস্থা জারি করেছিলেন তা ১৯৭৭ সাল পর্যন্ত ২১ মাস ধরে এই জরুরি অবস্থা জারি থাকে। মঙ্গলবার সেই জরুরি অবস্থার ৪৪তম অ্যানিভার্সারিতে নরেন্দ্র মোদীকে ট্যুইট করে কটাক্ষ করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।তিনি আরও বল্লেন অতিতে চলে যাওয়া দিন গুলির ইতিহাস থেকে আমাদেরকে শিক্ষা নেওয়া উচিত বলেও মন্তব্য করেন।বিজেপির ডাকা সর্বদল বৈঠকে অনুপস্থিত ছিলেন তিনি। যার ফলে বিজেপির সঙ্গে তিক্ততা বেড়ে যায়।নয়া সরকারের শপথগ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠানেও যাননি তিনি।এমনকি উপস্থিত ছিলেন না গত ১৫ জুনে নীতির আয়োগের বৈঠকেও।
