কলকাতা: লোকসভা নির্বাচনের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে রাজ্যের বেশ কয়েকটি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রে উপনির্বাচন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। সেইসব নবনির্বাচিত বিধায়করা শপথ গ্রহণ করলেন বুধবার। বিধানসভায় এইসব নবনির্বাচিত বিধায়কদের শপথ বাক্য পাঠ করান রাজ্য বিধানসভার অধ্যক্ষ বিমান বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এদিনের এই শপথ গ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠানে এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন রাজ্যের পরিষদীয় মন্ত্রী পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়, বিধানসভার বিরোধী দলনেতা আব্দুল মান্নান সহ অন্যান্যরা।
উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক দলের অনেক বিধায়কও। এদিন যেসব নবনির্বাচিত বিধায়ক শপথ বাক্য পাঠ করলেন তার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য উলুবেরিয়া পূর্ব বিধানসভা কেন্দ্র থেকে নির্বাচিত বিধায়ক ইদ্রিস আলী, ইসলামপুর বিধানসভা কেন্দ্র থেকে নির্বাচিত আব্দুল করিম চৌধুরী প্রমূখ।
