ফের কেন্দ্রের বৈঠকে গরহাজির থাকার সিদ্ধান্ত নিলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় দেশে এক নির্বাচন প্রতি তড়িঘড়ি সিদ্ধান্ত দিতে নারাজ মমতা।এক দেশ, এক নির্বাচন। এই নিয়ে আলোচনার জন্য ১৯ জুন সর্বদলীয় বৈঠক ডেকেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী কিন্তু সেই বৈঠকে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় কেন্দ্রকে চিঠি দিয়ে জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন, বুধবার সংসদভবনে সব দলের সভাপতিদের নিয়ে যে বৈঠক ডাকা হয়েছে, তাতে তিনি যোগ দিতে পারছেন না। রবিবার সংসদ বিষয়ক মন্ত্রী প্রহ্লাদ যোশি জানান, লোকসভা ও রাজ্যসভার প্রতিনিধি সব দলের সভাপতিকে ওই বৈঠকে আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়েছে।

ওই বিষয় ছাড়াও বৈঠকে ২০২২ সালে দেশের ৭৫তম স্বাধীনতা দিবস উদ্‌যাপন, চলতি বছর মহাত্মা গান্ধীর ১৫০তম জন্মবার্ষিকীর বিষয়েও আলোচনা হবে বলে জানান তিনি। তবে সেই বৈঠকে উপস্থিত থাকতে পারবেন না বলে জানিয়ে দিলেন মমতা। কেন্দ্রকে দেওয়া চিঠিতে তিনি জানান, পূর্ব নির্ধারিত কর্মসূচি থাকায় তিনি বৈঠকে যোগ দিতে পারবেন না। তিনি আরও লিখেছেন, ‘এমন একটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ে সংবিধান বিশেষজ্ঞ, নির্বাচন বিশেষজ্ঞ ও সর্বোপরি সব দলের সদস্যদের সঙ্গে আলোচনা প্রয়োজন।
