সারা রাজ্য জুড়ে চরম অরাজকতা চলছে। হাসপাতালগুলির বাইরে রোগী সহ রোগীদের পরিবার পরিজনদের ভিড়ের মিছিল,থমকে গেছে সারা বাংলার চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা; মৃত্যুর সাথে পাঞ্জা লড়ছেন জুনিয়র ডাক্তার পরিবাহি মুখার্জি।

আমি রাজ্যের বিরোধী দলের সভাপতি হিসাবে কেবল নয়,একজন রাজনীতিবিদ হিসাবে নয় বরং একজন সহ নাগরিক হিসাবে আমাদের রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কাছে আবেদন করছি– সমস্ত রকম আত্মাভিমান ভুলে গিয়ে আন্দোলনরত চিকিৎসকদের কাছে আপনি গিয়ে তাঁদের কথা শুনুন,তাঁদের নিরাপত্তা সুনিশ্চিত করুন,রোগীদের ও রোগীর পরিবারদের চিকিৎসা পাওয়ার সুযোগ করে দিন।NRS কান্ডের অভিযুক্তদের কোনো রং না দেখে অবিলম্বে গ্রেফতার করার নির্দেশ দিন আপনি। আপনি কেবল তৃণমূল নেত্রী নন,আপনি রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। আমি একজন সহ নাগরিক হিসাবেই আপনাকে রাজ ধর্মের পালন করার আবেদন করছি।
হাসপাতালগুলি আজ সমাজবিরোধীদের এবং অবাঞ্ছিত কিছু মানুষের ডেরায় পরিণত হয়েছে,সেগুলিকে সুস্থ অবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে এনে স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবার পরিকাঠামোগত উন্নতি সাধন করার দায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকেই গ্রহণ করতে হবে।
সংকীর্ণ রাজনীতির ‘ইগো’ দেখাবার সময় এটা নয়। চিকিৎসকদের নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে, রোগীদের স্বার্থে, বাংলার স্বার্থে, বাঙালির স্বার্থে উদ্ভুত সমস্যা থেকে উত্তরণের পথ আজ বের করতেই হবে।
