মিসগাইড করা হচ্ছে কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী কে। কাঠের পুতুলের মত দাঁড় করিয়ে রাখা হচ্ছে। এমনকি মাদকাসক্ত করে ঘুম পাড়িয়ে রাখা হচ্ছে। এমনই গুরুতর অভিযোগ তুললেন প্রদেশ কংগ্রেসের অন্যতম শীর্ষ নেতা প্রদীপ ভট্টাচার্য্য। মঙ্গলবার বিধান ভবনে সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করে তিনি বলেন সোমবার চতুর্থ দফার নির্বাচনে চরম অরাজকতার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। কিন্তু কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী থাকলেও আদতে কাজের কাজ কিছুই হয়নি। নির্বাচন কমিশনের ভূমিকা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তোলেন প্রদীপ ভট্টাচার্য।
রাজ্যে নির্বাচনে নিযুক্ত স্পেশাল পুলিশ অবজারভার দের হাতে আরো বেশি ক্ষমতা দেওয়ার দাবি জানান প্রদীপবাবু। স্পর্শ কাতর বুথ বাছাই করতে ডি এম ও এসপিদের পাশাপাশি রাজনৈতিক দলের প্রতিনিধিদের মতামত নেওয়ার পক্ষে ও সওয়াল করেন এই কংগ্রেস নেতা। বাকি তিন দফার নির্বাচন অবাধ ও শান্তিপূর্ণ করতে নির্বাচন কমিশন আরো সতর্ক হোক, দাবি প্রদেশ কংগ্রেসের। নিজেদের দাবির সপক্ষে নির্বাচন কমিশনকে চিঠি লেখাও হয়েছে বলে এ দিন জানিয়েছেন প্রদেশ কংগ্রেস সমন্বয় কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান প্রদীপ ভট্টাচার্য্য।
