২০০৩ সালে দারুণভাবে ব্যবসায় সফল হয়ে দর্শকের মাঝে সাড়া ফেলে দিয়েছিল এই সিনেমাটি। দীর্ঘ ১৬ বছর পর সিনেমাটির সিক্যুয়েল নির্মাণ হতে যাচ্ছে।সালমান খান ও ভূমিকা চাওলা অভিনীত সুপারহিট সিনেমা ‘তেরে নাম’। বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন পরিচালক সতিশ কৌশিক। চলতি বছরের শেষের দিকে এর শুটিং শুরু হবে।
এ বিষয়ে পরিচালক সতিশ কৌশিক বলেন, আমি ‘তেরে নাম ২’ করছি যা নির্মিত হবে একটি প্রেমের গল্প নিয়ে। এখন শুধু এটুকুই আমি বলতে পারব। এছাড়া মৌলিক গল্পও থাকছে ‘তেরে নাম ২’-এ। সম্প্রতি স্ক্রিপ্টের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
ছবিটি সেসময় এতোটাই জনপ্রিয়তা পায় যে বলি পরিচালক ছবিটির সাফল্যকে ব্যবহার করে সিনেপ্রেমীদের হৃদয়ে আবার ঝড় তুলতে চাইছেন। আর সে কথা মাথায় রেখেই অনেকদিন থেকে ‘তেরে নাম ’ ছবির পরিচালক সতীশ কৌশিক ‘তেরে নাম টু’ নিমার্ণ করার কথা ভাবতে থাকেন। প্রয়োজন শুধু প্রথম ছবিটির মতো রোমান্টিক কাহিনীর।
