পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর: বিজেপির রাজ্য সভাপতি দিলীপ ঘোষ যখন প্রচারে ঝড় তুলছন মেদিনীপুর লোকসভা কেন্দ্র থেকে তখনই বিজেপির দুই গোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে ব্যাপক মারামারি খড়্গপুরের সুভাষ পল্লীতে। দুই মহিলা সহ আহত ৪ জন। অভিযোগ জয়দীপ স্বর্ণকার ও তার স্ত্রী ছবি স্বর্ণকার (বিজেপির ভারত মাতা সমিতির সদস্য)নামে দুই বিজেপি নেতা সুভাষপল্লী গেটের কাছে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকার সময় সুভাষপল্লী ৭ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের শক্তি প্রমুখ কুনাল সরকার ও তার দলবল এসে তাদেরকে বেধড়ক মারধর করে।
রাম নবমীর দিন জয়দীপ ও তার স্ত্রী কে প্রাণনাশের হুমকি দিয়েছিল কুনাল সরকার তাই জয়দীপ ও তার স্ত্রী টাউন থানা তে কুনাল সরকার এর নামে অভিযোগ দায়ের করে। আহত জয়দীপ এবং তার স্ত্রী খড়গপুর মাহাকুমা হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধিন। কুনাল সরকারকে খড়গপুর থানার পুলিশ আটক করেছে। কুনাল সরকার বিজেপির রাজ্য সভাপতি দিলীপ ঘোষের ঘনিষ্ঠ। গোটাঘটনায় বিজেপি নেতাদের মুখে কুলুপ।
