বহরমপুরঃ বড়সড় বাস দুর্ঘটনা মুর্শিদাবাদের বহরমপুরে। দুর্ঘটনায় আহত প্রায় ১০জন বাসযাত্রী আশঙ্কাজনক আরও ২জন। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বুধবার বেলা ১১টা নাগাদ বহরমপুর-আমতলা রাজ্য সড়কে। এদিন সকালে একটি বেসরকারি যাত্রী বোঝায় বাস বহরমপুর থেকে হরিহরপাড়া যাচ্ছিল। সেই সময় উল্টো দিক থেকে আসা একটি ট্রাক্টর নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ হয়।
ঘটনাস্থলে যাত্রী বোঝায় বেসরকারি বাসটি রাস্তার মাঝে উল্টে যায়। বাসের যাত্রীরা ঘটনাস্থলে ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে পড়ে। স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এসে আহত যাত্রীদের মুর্শিদাবাদ মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার জন্য নিয়ে আসে। প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার পর কয়েকজনকে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়। গুরুত্বর আহত বেশ কয়েকজন এবং আশঙ্কাজনক অবস্থায় দুই হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। পুলিস ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রনে আনে।
