ঝাড়গ্রাম: রাত পেরোলেই ফের হাজির প্রেমের পার্বণ! ভালবাসার দিন ভ্যালেন্টাইনস ডে-তে পছন্দের মানুষকে তাক লাগানো উপহার দিতে তৈরি তরুণ তরুণীরাও। পুরনো প্রেমকে ঝালিয়ে নিতে আর নতুন প্রেমের খাতা খুলতেই যেন হাজির এই বিশেষ দিন।এখন মফসলেও সময়ের সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে পাল্টেছে ভ্যালেন্টাইন ডের উপহারের তালিকা। টেডি বিয়ার থেকে কস্টিউম জুয়েলারি, সবই ঢুকে পড়েছে তাতে। তবে চিরায়ত লাল গোলাপের চাহিদা ভাটা পড়েনি। এ বারও প্রেম দিবসের আগে গােলাপের চাহিদা তুঙ্গে। তবে বাজারে গোলাপের যোগান কম থাকায় বাড়ছে দাম।
এক-একটি ছোট গোলাপ বিক্রি হয়েছে ১০-১৫ টাকায়। ভালোবাসার দিনে গোলাপ ফুল দিয়ে প্রেম নিবেদন করতে বাঁধ সাজছে অতিরিক্ত বাজার মূল্য ,তবে ফুল বিক্রেতা দামি ফুলের দাম যাই হোক না কেন প্রেম নিবেদন করতে বাদ সাজবে প্রেমিক ও প্রেমিকার পকেট। শহরের এক ফুল ব্যবসায়ী বলেন, “এই সময় গােলাপের দাম একটু বেশিই থাকে। যোগান কম থাকলে দাম তো বাড়বেই। আমাদের বেশি দামে গোলাপ কিনতে হচ্ছে।” ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলায় গোলাপ আসে কোলাঘাট, হাওড়া থেকে। গোপীবল্লভপুর কম বেশি গোলাপ চাষ হয়। শহরের বিভিন্ন বিপণিতে কলেজ পড়ুয়া তরুণী থেকে সদ্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পা রাখা যুবকের মতো অসংখ্য ক্রেতার ভিড় ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো।
