মুর্শিদাবাদঃ সরস্বতী পূজা হিন্দু বিদ্যা ও সঙ্গীতের দেবী সরস্বতীর আরাধনাকে কেন্দ্র করে অনুষ্ঠেয় একটি অন্যতম প্রধান হিন্দু উৎসব। মাঘ মাসের শুক্লা পঞ্চমী তিথিতে সরস্বতী পূজা আয়োজিত হয়। তিথিটি শ্রীপঞ্চমী বা বসন্ত পঞ্চমী নামেও পরিচিত। শ্রীপঞ্চমীর দিন অতি প্রত্যুষে বিভিন্ন শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান, ছাত্রছাত্রীদের গৃহ ও সর্বজনীন পূজামণ্ডপে দেবী সরস্বতীর পূজা করা হয়। ধর্মপ্রাণ হিন্দু পরিবারে এই দিন শিশুদের হাতেখড়ির দিন হিসাবে প্রচলিত। পূজার দিন শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান ও সর্বজনীন পূজামণ্ডপগুলিতে সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানও আয়োজিত হচ্ছে।
আজ সরস্বতী পুজো! রাজ্যের পাশাপাশি মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলাজুড়ে পালিত হচ্ছে বিদ্যার অধিষ্ঠাত্রী দেবী সরস্বতীর পুজো। জেলার বিভিন্ন স্কুল, কলেজ, ক্লাব ও পাড়ার মোড়ে মোড়ে বানী বন্দনার পুজোতে মেতে উঠেছে আম বাঙ্গালী। বাঙ্গালীর ভ্যালেনটাইন ডে হিসাবেও পরিচিত এই দিনটি। এদিন বহরমপুরের গার্লস কলেজ, কাশেশ্বরী বালিকা বিদ্যালয়, চুয়াপুর বিদ্যানিকেতন গার্লস স্কুল সহ বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা মেতে উঠেছে এই পুজো নিয়ে। মেয়েরা শাড়ি পরে আজ পুজো প্রাঙ্গণে উপস্থিত হয়েছে। আজকে সকলের সাথে খোলা মনে ঘুরতে পেরে তারা বেজায় খুশি।
ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই ছুটির দিনে বিনা বাধায় খোলা মনে সকলের সাথে উপস্থিত হতে পেরে আজ তারা উৎসুক। আজ স্কুলে কলেজে সেলফি তোলার ধুম পড়ে গিয়েছে। সারাদিন বন্ধুদের সাথে আড্ডা মেরে বাইরে ঘোরা ও খাওয়া দাওয়া সারবে বলে জানিয়েছে নতুন প্রজন্মের ছেলে মেয়েরা।
