ঝাড়গ্রাম: প্রতিবছরের ন্যায় এবারো মাঘ মাসের পঞ্চমী তিথিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের অন্যতম ধর্মীয় উৎসব বিদ্যার দেবী সরস্বতী পূজার।পূজা উপলক্ষে শীতকে উপেক্ষা করে কার্যত ভক্তির স্বরুপ প্রতিমা তৈরিতে ব্যস্ত সময় পার করছেন ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার মৃৎশিল্পীরা। আর ৩ দিন বাদে জ্ঞানের আলো ছড়াতে আসবেন বিদ্যার দেবী মা সরস্বতী। তাই মৃৎশিল্পীদেরও বিশ্রামের সময় নেই।
দিনরাত প্রতিমা তৈরিতে ব্যস্ত তারা। খড় ও মাটি দিয়ে তৈরি প্রতিমার গায়ে দেয়া হচ্ছে মাটির প্রলেপ। চলছে রোদে শুকিয়ে রঙ ও অলঙ্কার পরানোর কাজ।ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার বেলিয়াবাড়া ব্লকের রান্টুয়া কুমারটুলির মৃৎশিল্পি তপন দাস জানান, সারা বছরই বিভিন্ন প্রতিমা তৈরি করে থাকি। আগামী ১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি সরস্বতী পূজা। এ উপলক্ষে সরস্বতীর প্রতিমা বানাচ্ছি। এবছর মোট ৯০টি প্রতিমা তৈরি করেছি, কাজ চলছে।
এক একটি প্রতিমা ৯০০ টাকা থেকে ৮ হাজার টাকায় বিক্রি করা হবে। অনেকেই তাদের পছন্দ মতো প্রতিমার অর্ডার দিচ্ছেন। আপাতত মৃৎশিল্পীদের কর্ম ব্যস্ততা তুঙ্গে আর ৩ দিন বাদে বিদ্যার দেবীর আরাধনায় নতজানু থাকবে সকলে।
