পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর : বালি বোঝাই লরির চাকায় পিষ্ট হয়ে গুরুতর আহত এক বৃদ্ধা। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে কেশিয়াড়ি থানার মোড় কুলবনী মোড় এলাকায়।আহত ওই বৃদ্ধার নাম মৌমিতা দে(৫৬)। বাড়ি মেদিনীপুর সদর এলাকার মিত্র কম্পাউন্ডে। আহত ওই বৃদ্ধাকে স্থানীয়রা এবং কেশিয়াড়ি পুলিশ উদ্ধার করে প্রথমে কেশিয়াড়ি গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসে। তারপর মহিলার অবস্থা আশংকাজনক হওয়ায় তাকে মেদিনীপুর মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তরিত করা হয়েছে।
সূত্রের খবর দুর্ঘটনায় ওই মহিলার দুটি পায়ে গুরুতর ভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। তারপরে ওই বৃদ্ধাকে কলিকাতা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে তার পরিবার।এদিকে দুর্ঘটনার পর গাড়ির খালাসী কে গণধোলাই দেয় বিক্ষুব্ধ জনতা। আহত অবস্থায় গাড়ির খালাসী ভর্তি কেশিয়াড়ি গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে। খালাসী জানিয়েছে খুব ধীরগতিতে ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার গোপি থেকে লরিতে করে বাড়ি নিয়ে আসছিল।অসাবধানবশত গাড়ির পিছনের চাকায় ওই মহিলা চলে আসায় চাকায় পিষ্ঠ হয়ে যায় বৃদ্ধা।
