মুর্শিদাবাদঃ প্রানী সম্পদ বিকাশ বিভাগের সহায়তায় শুরু হল ছাগল ছানা বিতরন কর্মসূচী। মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে বহরমপুর বি এল ডি ও অফিস থেকে বহরমপুর পঞ্চায়েত পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির ১৭টি পঞ্চায়েতের গরীব মানুষদের মধ্যে এই ছাগল ছানা বিতরন করা হয়। এদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মুর্শিদাবাদের অতিরিক্ত জেলাশাসক সৌম্য ভট্টাচার্য্য, বহরমপুর পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি সুকুমার অধিকারী, প্রানী সম্পদ বিকাশের উপ-অধিকর্তা তারাশঙ্কর পান সহ অন্যান্য আধিকারিকগন।
এদিন এই অনুষ্ঠান থেকে প্রান্তিক চাষীদের আর্থিক উন্নতি সাধনের জন্য ৩৬ইউনিট ছাগল ছানা বিতরন করা হয়। প্রতি ইউনিটে ৫টি করে ছাগল ছানা মোট ১৮০টি ছাগল ছানা। প্রতি জন উপভোক্তাকে ১ইউনিট করে ছাগল ছানা দেওয়া। এদিন আধিকারিকগন জানান যে বহরমপুর ব্লকে মোট ৯০ইউনিট ছাগল ছানা বতরন করা হবে। তার মধ্যে আজ ৩৬ইউনিট বিতরন হল। বাকী ৫৪ইউনিট গুলি আগামীতে দিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। অতিরিক্ত জেলাশাসক জানান যে এই প্রথম ছাগল ছানা গুলি সংঘ এবং মহাসংঘের মাধ্যমে কেনা হয়েছে।
