মঙ্গলবার সকালে চাঁপদানীর পলতা ঘাটের জগদ্ধাত্রী পুজো সমিতির নতুন জগদ্ধাত্রী পূজোর মন্দিরের উদ্বোধন হয়ে গেল শুদূর আরামবাগ থেকে আসা পাঁচ জন পুরোহিতের পূজোর মধ্যে দিয়ে। এদিন সকালে চাঁপদানীর এই জগদ্ধাত্রীর নুতন মন্দিরের উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন চাঁপদানী পুরসভার পুরপ্রধান সুরেশ মিশ্র সহ চাঁপদানী পৌরসভার উপ পুরপ্রধান ও কাউন্সিলরেরা। এই মন্দির উদ্বোধন প্রসঙ্গে চাঁপদানী পৌরসভার পুরপ্রধান সুরেশ মিশ্র প্রতিক্রিয়ায় জানান।
এই পূজো চাঁপদানীর নবীন সংঘ ও চাঁপদানীর 13 নং ওয়ার্ডের মহিলা সমিতি উদ্যোগে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আমরা শুধু মাত্র তাদের সহযোগিতার জন্য হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়ে থাকি। তবে এলাকার মানুষের ও সমাজসেবীদের সাহায্যে এবং সংসদ কলাণ বন্দোপাধায়ের সহযোগিতা ছাড়া এই মন্দির করা সম্ভব হত না। তাই আমার পক্ষ থেকে তাদের কে জানাই ধন্যবাদ। পূজো ছাড়াও, এই মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণে বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানেও আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।
