উৎসবের রেশ এখনো বর্তমান। জগদ্ধাত্রী পূজায় নতুন সাজে সেজে উঠেছে চন্দননগর। যদিও জগদ্ধাত্রী আরাধনা বিশেষত বঙ্গদেশেই প্রচলিত। আবার পশ্চিমবঙ্গের হুগলি জেলার চন্দননগর ও নদিয়া জেলার কৃষ্ণনগরের জগদ্ধাত্রী উৎসব জগদ্বিখ্যাত। আলোকসজ্জায় বিখ্যাক্স চন্দননগরে চলছে জগদ্ধাত্রী দেবীর আরাধনা।
জগদ্ধাত্রী দেবী ত্রিনয়না, চতুর্ভূজা ও সিংহবাহিনী। তাঁর হাতে শঙ্খ, চক্র, ধনুক ও বাণ; গলায় নাগযজ্ঞোপবীত। বাহন সিংহ করীন্দ্রাসুর অর্থাৎ হস্তীরূপী অসুরের পৃষ্ঠে দণ্ডায়মান। দেবীর গাত্রবর্ণ উদিয়মান সূর্যের ন্যায়। সপ্তমী থেকে নবমী অবধি দুর্গাপূজার ধাঁচে জগদ্ধাত্রী পূজা করে থাকেন। উৎসবের জোয়ারে ভেসে যেতে বাঙালি ভাসবে এই উৎসবেতে। চন্দনগরে মনমাতানো আলোক সজ্জা দেখতে ভিড় জমাচ্ছেন দর্শনার্থীরা।
