ঝাড়গ্রাম: ভাইফোঁটা উপলক্ষে এমন ব্যতিক্রমী মিলনমেলার সাক্ষী রইল ঝাড়গ্রাম৷ এতদিন বন্ধুদের কাছ থেকে যাঁরা ভাইফোঁটার গল্প শুনতেন , তাঁরা এমন উত্সবের মাহাত্ম্য বুঝলেন৷ পুরাতন ঝাড়গ্রাম সর্বজনীন শ্যামাপুজো ও দীপাবলি উত্সব কমিটির উদ্যোগে সম্প্রীতির এমনই ভাইফোঁটা চলে আসছে ৩৮ বছর ধরে৷ ধর্ম-সম্প্রদায় নির্বিশেষে কিশোরী -তরুণীরা একের পর এক ভাই -দাদাদের কপালে ফোঁটা দিলেন৷ কে কোন ধর্মের , তার খোঁজ নেওয়ার প্রয়োজন ভাবলেন না কেউ৷
ঝাড়গ্রাম পুরসভার ১১ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডে দু’হাজার লোকের বাস৷ ভোরের আজান শুনে ঘুম ভাঙে সুমিত -কাকলিদের৷ সন্ধ্যায় রাজবাড়ির সাবিত্রী মন্দিরের শঙ্খ আর গির্জার ঘণ্টাধ্বনি মিলেমিশে একাকার হয়৷ প্রত্যেকে নিজের ধর্মাচার করেন৷ প্রতিদিন গির্জায় যান টিকুন বিশ্বাস৷ এ দিন তিনি ফোঁটা নিয়ে বলেন , ‘এই এলাকায় সব ধর্মের মানুষ একসঙ্গে বসবাস করেন৷ উত্সব আনন্দের দিনগুলিতে তাই সবাই একসঙ্গে সেই আনন্দ ভাগ করে নিই৷’
পুজো কমিটির মূল কাণ্ডারী কাউন্সিলর তপন সিংহ বলেন , ‘এখানকার শ্যামাপুজো শুধুমাত্র পুজো নয় , সবধর্মের মানুষকে একসূত্রে গেঁথে রাখাই এই পুজোর মূল উদ্দেশ্য৷ এলাকার বাসিন্দারা একে মিলনমেলায় পরিণত করেছেন৷
