পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর:- শারদীয়ার দুর্গা পুজোর আগে সাফাই অভিযানে নামল মহিলা বাহিনী।বেলদার ছোটমাতকতপুর মহিলা দুর্গোৎসব কমিটির সদস্যরা।রবিবার সকালে নিজেদের মন্ডপ থেকে শুরু করে সারা ছোটমাতকতপুর এলাকা পরিষ্কার করে। মূলত পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন সুস্থ পরিবেশ গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে এই দিনেই সাফাই অভিযান কর্মসূচি বলে দাবি পুজো কর্মকর্তাদের।2010 সাল থেকে শুরু হয় এই সার্বজনীন দুর্গাপূজার পাশাপাশি সামাজিক নানা স্থানের কাজ করে আসছেন মহিলা দুর্গোৎসব কমিটি।প্রতি বছর দেবী দুর্গার আরাধনার পাশাপাশি নানা ধরনের সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করে এই মহিলা সংগঠন।সার্বজনীন পূজো হলেও মহিলা সংগঠনের 40 জন সদস্যাদের নিয়ে করা এই পূজায় ফাকে সাবেকিয়ানার ছাঁচ।এলাকার বর্জ্য আবর্জনা পরিষ্কারের মধ্য দিয়ে এদিনের কর্মসূচী শেষ হয়।
